žž State Recognized Again for Sustainability Efforts

Through multiple organizations and collaborations on and off campus, žž ended 2019 as a more sustainable campus. Those who contributed to sustainable efforts worked hard to reduce the university’s carbon footprint leading to the university being honored as a finalist for the 2020 Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE) Campus Sustainability Achievement Award  along with the 2019 Keep Ohio Beautiful award for Colleges and Universities.

A student gets tested for COVID-19 on campus

žž State Receives Best in Class and Hall of Fame Honors for Supplier Diversity

žž has won a Best in Class award for supplier diversity from the Greater Cleveland Partnership. This marks the third time that the university has received this award. The žž Board of Trustees has approved a new three-year Collective Bargaining Agreement between the university and the žž Employees Local 153, American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME).
