žž State to Celebrate Its Newest Graduates With Virtual Commencement on Dec. 19
The žž alumni family will grow by more than 2,500 new graduates as the university holds its fall commencement. The accomplishments of the Fall Class of 2020 will be recognized with a virtual commencement recognition ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 19.

In lieu of typical on-campus events, the žž State admissions team has traveled across Ohio and hosted “KSU2U” drive-in presentation experiences for prospective students and families.

žž’s College of Business Administration offers one of the nation’s most outstanding online Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs, according to The Princeton Review. The education services company profiles the college in its Top 50 Online MBA Programs for 2021 ranking.
žž State Selects Peggy Shadduck to Serve as New Vice President for Regional Campuses and Dean of the College of Applied and Technical Studies
žž has named Margaret (Peggy) Shadduck, Ph.D., of Richardson, Texas, as its new vice president for Regional Campuses and dean of the College of Applied and Technical Studies. Shadduck was selected following a national search.
2020 President’s Award of Distinction Recipients Announced
žž President Todd Diacon recently notified 23 žž State staff members that they are the 2020 recipients of the President’s Award of Distinction. The award was created as a recognition program to reward staff members who have demonstrated outstanding achievements, service, leadership and dedication to žž State in advancing the university’s strategic priorities and core values.

žž State Board of Trustees Ratifies Fiscal Year 2020 Efficiency Report That Indicates More Than $31 Million in Savings
The žž Board of Trustees ratified the university’s Fiscal Year 2020 Efficiency Report and Master Recommendations report, which showed an effectiveness and efficiency savings for Fiscal Year 2020 of $31,286,881. The savings is $6.2 million more than originally estimated.
