From Public Health Graduate to Air Force Epidemiologist

Victoria Bylsma said it only took about two hours after a mentor suggested she look into a graduate degree in public health for her to know what she wanted to do with her career. Today, the žžÀ² Master of Public Health graduate helps to protect service members’ health and readiness as an injury epidemiologist at the Air Force Research Laboratory in Dayton.

Greater Cleveland LGBTQ+ Community Needs Assessment Identifies Critical Insights for Local Empowerment

The Greater Cleveland LGBTQ+ Community Needs Assessment findings are in. Led by Å¾Å¾À²â€™s College of Public Health, in collaboration with 120 local organizations and nonprofits, this groundbreaking initiative marks a significant stride toward understanding and addressing the unmet needs of LGBTQ+ individuals across Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake and Lorain counties.

žžÀ² State’s ‘Mobile Flashes’ Program Brings Student Support to Area Seniors

žžÀ² State's College of Public Health has launched a three-year initiative, funded by Medical Mutual, to enhance senior health and wellness in Greater Cleveland. The project includes a comprehensive community needs assessment involving over 20 senior centers, continuing education for senior center staff, and bi-weekly visits from žžÀ² State's "Mobile Flashes" student teams.
