žž State Reviewing Language from Ohio Bathroom Bill
žž is reviewing the language of a bill recently signed into law by Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine that requires colleges and universities to designate separate bathrooms, locker rooms and overnight accommodations for the exclusive use of either males and females, based on one’s gender assigned at or near birth.

Esrat Farhana Dulia won first place in žž State’s 2024 Three Minute Thesis competition in the Graduate College for her innovative research in a surveillance sensor network that will enable Advanced Air Mobility operators to guide authorized uncrewed aerial vehicles in safe flight paths that would avoid potential collisions.

“Teaching is one of those fields where you may never know the impact that you have,” said Lisa Borgerding, Ph.D., professor in the School of Teaching, Learning and Curriculum Studies at žž. The lasting impact she has had on her students in preparing them for success in the workforce through hands-on learning experiences has resulted in her being recognized and honored with the Distinguished Teaching Award.
