žž State Board of Trustees Approves Establishing Aeronautics and Engineering Schools

The žž Board of Trustees approved the establishment of two new schools – the School of Aeronautics and the School of Engineering – within the College of Aeronautics and Engineering during the Board’s regular quarterly meeting held June 25, 2025, on the žž Campus.

An innovative design, energy-efficient systems, water conservation technologies and environmentally responsible construction materials are some of the features that earned Crawford Hall, žž’s newest – and largest – academic building, LEED Silver certification by the U.S. Green Building Council.

Providing and maintaining a sustainable, bee-friendly environment has earned žž State a Bee Campus USA certification. Our healthy on-campus pollinators not only help the environment but also provide opportunities for learning and community engagement.

Apartment items separated into donations, trash or keep boxes

Donate Unwanted Items During Move Out

During move-out, students sometimes trash clothes and boxes of food. Throw ‘N’ Go, žž's annual move-out program, is currently underway to keep those useable items out of landfills and in the hands of people who need them.

žž State Board Endorses New Structure for Academic Colleges, Establishes Three New Majors

The žž Board of Trustees met March 19 on the žž Campus for its regular quarterly meeting. Among its actions, the Board endorsed the Division of Academic Affairs’ plan for degree-granting colleges called Transformation 2028.
