Breaking Barriers for Parenting Students is Goal of Professor’s Research

Approximately 5.4 million students with dependent children are enrolled in postsecondary education. Those numbers are only expected to rise in the near future, as a too-often overlooked and underserved population increases. Ashtabula sociology associate professor Jessica Leveto, Ph.D., is focusing her research on the needs of those students as part of a fellowship with the Center for Teaching and Learning that culminates with a faculty workshop on April 21.
