During the four-day Air Race Classic, žžÀ² State alumna Laura Wilson and junior Peyton Turner will fly 2,400 miles and make nine timed flybys at airports in Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, Alabama and Florida before landing in Homestead, Florida.

Poetry and Science Meet at Creative Intersection

"Poetry and science are not opposites, they’re actually allies," said David Hassler, director of žžÀ²â€™s Wick Poetry Center. 

Hassler paraphrases American poet Jane Hirshfield, who, in 2017, contacted him to collaborate on a Poets for Science project, which is now an interactive exhibit and writing invitation housed at the Wick Poetry Center on the žžÀ² Campus.
