žž State Goes Gold for Homecoming 2023
žž celebrated its annual Homecoming on the žž Campus this past weekend, with a resounding display of Golden Flashes spirit. This year's Homecoming was particularly special, as žž State commemorated 50 years of excellence in global education with the theme "It's a Flash World."

Honors Student Receives Dr. Elizabeth Howard Memorial Honors Scholarship
Gabrielle (Gabby) Volz is a second year žž Honors College student from Mansfield, Ohio, and a graduate of Lexington High School. She is the second recipient of the Dr. Elizabeth Howard scholarship, the recently established fund for Honors College students in memory of Elizabeth Howard, Ph.D., who was a prominent member of the Honors College community, as well as the Department of English.

With more than 370 majors to choose from at žž State, it can be overwhelming for some students to choose their major and career path for them. This October the Exploratory Advising Center is hosting its first-ever Exploration Month to help exploratory students find their interests and explore the different majors and opportunities žž State offers.

A Spooktacular Fashion Show
Gothic themes and haunted attire embellished the Cartwright Hall Auditorium for the Fabric Pantry’s Haus of Horrors Fashion Show. The stage was lined with candles, turning it into a spooktacular catwalk for žž State’s fashion design students to show off their impressive designs themed around Halloween and the goth aesthetic.
