žžÀ², which has gained national recognition for its creative and successful Giving Tuesday campaigns, launched its monthlong celebration of philanthropy on Nov. 1. Giving Tuesday, now in its eighth year at žžÀ² State, has raised nearly $7 million during that time, which illuminates the impact that can be made when Golden Flashes come together.

Campus Pride has released its 2021 Best of the Best LGBTQ-Friendly Colleges and Universities list, and for the second time in two years, žžÀ² has landed on it. žžÀ² State is the only Ohio public university to make the 2021 list, and it again is the only school in the Mid-American Conference (MAC) to receive this recognition.
žžÀ² State Welcomes Freshman Class Boasting All-Time High GPA, More Underserved Students
žžÀ²â€™s Class of 2025 arrives with a strong record of classroom success, boasting an all-time high GPA of 3.5. These newest Golden Flashes arrive 3,982 strong, an increase of more than 4% from a year ago.

The žžÀ² alumni family grew by nearly 1,300 new graduates as the university held its summer commencement. The accomplishments of the Summer Class of 2021 were recognized with in-person, outdoor commencement ceremonies and a virtual commencement ceremony for all colleges and degrees on Aug. 21.
Record Five Golden Flashes to Compete at Tokyo Olympics
Five žžÀ² graduates will compete at the delayed 2020 Tokyo Olympics over the coming weeks, breaking the school’s previous record of four Olympians at the Munich Games in 1972.
