Research Writing Retreats, sponsored by žž’s Graduate College, offer a distraction-free environment for graduate students to work on their research and writing projects. While “giving them permission” to put other aspects of life aside and focus on their writing, the retreats also create a supportive community that enhances productivity while also offering welcome accountability from their peers.

žž State’s Making Our Own Space Program Gives Teens a Taste of Architecture
Summer camps for kids interested in architecture don’t come along often – at least that’s what Elise Bolton’s mother discovered when she searched for one. But then, not a whole lot of 11-year-olds may dream of becoming architects. But that was the case for Bolton, a sophomore in žž’s College of Architecture and Environmental Design, who knew from when she was a young child that she wanted to be an architect.

The Flashes Activities Board brought some cowboy fun to žž State with the FAB Wild West Rodeo. Presented inside the žž Student Center Ballroom, the activities mechanical bull-riding, line dancing, a Skee-Ball shooting gallery and a free žž State cowboy hat giveaway!
