žžÀ² State volunteers serve home-cooked meals to žžÀ²way residents.

žžÀ² State Volunteers Impact the Lives of Others Beyond Campus 

Every other Tuesday, student volunteers from the Campus Kitchen at žžÀ² prepare dinner for the residents of the žžÀ²way Apartment Complex, a government-subsidized housing complex on East Summit Street in žžÀ². At 5 p.m. residents gather in the dining hall and volunteers serve the meal which is prepared from food donated by Trader Joe’s.

Throughout her time at žžÀ², Ya'el Courtney completed a Senior Honors Thesis/Project, authored several published peer-reviewed journal articles and presented at several national and international conferences. As she continues her education at Harvard University, she intends to conduct a significant amount of research focusing on psychiatric diseases.
