Read Between the Lines: žž State Musicology Professor Looks Deeper Into the Life of Beethoven
In 1996, Theodore Albrecht, professor of musicology, was diligently working on his original project of annotating, translating and studying approximately 430 letters written to Ludwig van Beethoven by his friends and family. Then a new opportunity presented itself. Albrecht found that his two projects worked together to add further understanding and context, giving him the opportunity to add depth and discover new details of Beethoven’s life.

žž Creativity Festival Announces 2019 Artists and Performers
The žž Creativity Festival, sponsored by the city of žž and the žž College of the Arts, will present the annual outdoor hands-on arts festival on Saturday, Sept. 28, from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. on the Lefton Esplanade between žž State’s Rockwell Hall on Lincoln Street and downtown žž, near Haymaker Parkway.
