žžÀ² State Receives Prestigious Military Friendly School Honor for 12th Consecutive Year
žžÀ² is once again at the top tier when it comes to exhibiting leading practices and supporting post-military students, receiving the 2021-2022 Military Friendly® School designation for its žžÀ² Campus. This is the 12th year in a row that the žžÀ² Campus has received the Military Friendly School honor.
Ashley White-Stumpf's Sacrifice Featured in National Museum of the U.S. Army
žžÀ² State alumna 1st Lt. Ashley White-Stump is featured along with other American heroes in the new National Museum of the United States Army, which just recently opened in Virginia.
žžÀ² State Honors Veterans With Annual Commemoration Event
žžÀ² held its annual Veterans Day Commemoration on Thursday, Nov. 7, in the žžÀ² Student Center Kiva. This year’s guest speaker was Lt. Col. Colleen VanNatta. A graduate of žžÀ² State’s Air Force ROTC detachment, VanNatta served as a media escort for joint information bureaus in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, during Operation Desert Storm.

For the 10th consecutive time, žžÀ² State has earned the 2019-2020 Military Friendly School designation for its žžÀ² Campus. Military Friendly rates companies and colleges on their programs to recruit and retain military veterans as employees and students.
