Our Study Options

The School of Peace and Conflict Studies offers courses at all collegiate levels, BA, MA, and PhD.

At the undergraduate level, the School offers: 

  • a major leading to a ; 
  • a (formerly called Peace and Conflict Studies); 
  • an interdisciplinary ; 
  • and a number of that can be taken as electives to supplement and enhance other degree programs.  

The School’s popular Introduction to Conflict Management class can be used to satisfy žžÀ² CORE and Diversity requirements.  The School also participates in the 3+3 Law School Program, which allows students to complete their undergraduate degree and a law degree in a total of six years instead of seven, and in the .

 

At the graduate level:

  • The School of Peace and Conflict Studies offers a Master of Arts in Peace and Conflict Studies, which graduated its first students in May 2025.
  • The School of Peace and Conflict Studies has partnered with the Ambassador Crawford School of Business and Entrepreneurship to offer a a .

  • SPCS faculty teach courses in the Conflict Analysis and Management track of the PhD/MA program in Political Science.
