GroundWorks Dance Theater, a contemporary dance company based in Cleveland, will perform Feb. 11 at 7:30 p.m. at the žž at Tuscarawas Performing Arts Center (PAC). To highlight the event, dancers from the local community will participate in the production.

On Dec. 8, 2016, the typical navy and gold of žž’s Governance Chambers was muted by vibrant flags, rainbow streamers and exuberant voices of about 100 people gathered in celebration. The žž Board of Trustees today established a comprehensive, national search to recruit and select the university’s 13th president.
The events of May 4, 1970, placed žž in an international spotlight after a student protest against the Vietnam War and the presence of the Ohio National Guard ended in tragedy with four students losing their lives and nine others being wounded. From a perspective of nearly 50 years, žž State remembers the tragedy and leads a contemporary discussion and understanding of how the community, nation and world can benefit from understanding the profound impact of the event.
