The Programming of the Student Center Could Shift From a Focus on Dining Toward Other Student Life Spaces

Benchmarking analysis indicates that the size of the Student Center is appropriate for the žžÀ² Campus. However, the programming of the Student Center is disproportionately focused on food service. In a June 2017 student survey, students report being twice as likely to visit the Student Center for food as for any other reason.
The žžÀ² Campus should re-allocate the existing square footage to provide more space for informal student-friendly interaction, student organization, and multicultural centers. The Student Center program must be balanced with the campus dining demand.
Does the Student Center meet the žžÀ² Campus student needs, or is it mostly a dining hall?
