A first-generation college student is someone who is, or will will be, the first in their family to earn a bachelor’s degree. žž State honored these students with “I AM FIRST Week” - and a schedule of events that included alumni and graduate student panels, educational workshops and the žž State men’s basketball home opener game, which recognized first-generation students.
