United Way Workplace Campaign Kick Off

Save the date and join us Sept. 3 during Food Truck Wednesday as we launch žžÀ² State’s United Way of Portage County Workplace Campaign. After more than 40 years of support, UWPC will no longer receive funding from the Federal Emergency Food and Shelter Program. These critical funds have helped provide housing, utility assistance, and food support to some of the most vulnerable individuals and families in Portage County, including our own žžÀ² State community members. Together, we can step up and help bridge the gap. Your support during this campaign is more important than ever.

Volunteer at Fix-It žžÀ²

After a successful first-ever Fix-It žžÀ² hosted by Design Innovation, we’re doing it again! Another big thank you to all the KSU folks who brought their amazing expertise to the inaugural repair clinic last spring. We’re calling again for volunteers on Sept. 18 to work one-on-one with participants to coach them through repairing their broken and damaged items. Whether you specialize in a particular area such as electronics or mending, or simply enjoy fixing things and tinkering, your support will make a difference.
