“Always in our thoughts, forever in our hearts," is inscribed on a plaque at the žžÀ² State Student Memorial Garden on Manchester Field on the žžÀ² Campus. It was created in 2015 in remembrance of all žžÀ² State students who have died. The inspiration for the Student Memorial Garden came from Undergraduate Student Government and other student organizations who advocated for a permanent student memorial on campus. Judging is done by the žžÀ² State Alumni Association. The alumni association will review and make determinations for all award categories and reserves the right to suggest alternate awards based on the nominee’s qualifications and experience.
