. This course introduces instructors to the fundamentals of Regular and Substantive Interaction (RSI). Participants will learn what RSI is, why it is required by federal regulations, and how to begin incorporating it into their course design and delivery. 

This downloadable guide provides an overview of RSI as well as recommended strategies for each method of substantive interaction that you might consider when incorporating RSI into your own course design and delivery.  

. The self-assessment provides an opportunity for you to reflect on whether you are incorporating RSI strategies that align with at least 2 of the 5 methods of substantive interaction in your own course.
