Richard Feinberg, Department of Anthropology, Cathleen Pyrek (a recent žž State master’s graduate), and Alexander Mawyer (University of Hawai'i at Manoa) guest-edited a special issue of Structure and Dynamics, an online open-access journal hosted by the University of California. The title of the special issue is “Navigation and Spatial Orientation in the Pacific Islands.” It deals with the relationship between spatial cognition, culture and navigation, both on land and at sea.
