The žžÀ² State Women’s Golf League now has openings for the upcoming season and encourages žžÀ² State women golfers of any ability, whether employed or retired, to join. Tee times begin at 4:45 p.m. on Monday afternoons. The league consists of 10 two-partner teams competing in a friendly atmosphere throughout the summer.
The league has been in existence since the 1960s, when a physical education instructor at the university decided he wanted to teach female employees of žžÀ² State how to golf and to enjoy the game. The league continues to this day, golfing nine holes each Monday afternoon at the žžÀ² State course.
