Dear Fellow Flashes,

Whether you are connecting to žžÀ² from campus, or from the comfort of your own home, all of our student leaders would like to welcome you back. Also, we want to give a special welcome to our first-year students who just joined the Golden Flash Family. We hope that everyone is ready to have a year filled with much success.

As the semester begins, we would like to remind you all that despite the many changes on our campus one aspect of žžÀ² has not changed. We are all still part of the Golden Flash Family. As members of this family we all need to come together as a community to promote the wellbeing of every individual here at žžÀ². Everyone plays a vital role in the health and safety of our community.

We know that there are many uncertainties in regards to this academic year. We know that there have been many changes in the ways that we learn, work and connect. However, as Flashes we will overcome every obstacle that this pandemic presents. žžÀ² State students have prevailed through some of the most uncertain times in our nation. žžÀ² State students have been, and will continue to be, some of the strongest individuals we have ever seen.

The upcoming academic year will not be easy. It will be challenging in many ways. Nevertheless, we hope that together all students can stand united against the many challenges of this pandemic.

Please wear a face covering. Please physical distance. Please follow the Flashes Safe Seven. And please do not forget that we are all in this together. Again, we all need to do our part in protecting our community.

Each of us must make short-term sacrifices to ensure long-term success. We are thankful for the many of you who are doing all that you need to do to keep our community safe. For those that choose not to adhere to public health and university guidance, your behavior threatens a successful fall semester for all of us. There can also be individual student and student organization consequences. If you have feedback about the Flashes Safe Seven and/or other health and safety guidelines, you can share your thoughts.

Remember that Flashes Take Care of Flashes,
