
Amanda Krakower
Biography
Amanda Krakower, ISA, TRAQ, is an Urban Designer at OHM Advisors, where she advances climate-resilient public-realm and land-use projects through urban forestry, green infrastructure, and community-driven design. Previously a Park Planner with Geauga Park District, she advanced the organization’s mission of conservation and equitable access through new development projects and managing various improvement projects across the park district. As a consulting arborist, she has supported large NYC DOT and DDC infrastructure programs, overseeing tree protection, inventories, and field coordination; as well as educating homeowners as a private consultant across NEO. Amanda blends design vision with technical rigor—mapping, analysis, visualization, and 3D modeling—using a variety of software in combination with photography and other analog techniques. She holds a Master of Landscape Architecture from žžÀ² and a B.A. in Environmental Design with an Architecture minor from the University at Buffalo. Her work emphasizes equitable access, resiliency, and long-term stewardship.
